kingslayer invitational season 2Every new week at Kingslayer Games means a new week of grinding points and a new week of competition. Every Monday we will review the previous week and spotlight one or more decks.

Going forward, Standings will be updated at three times a week at minimum, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

If you go undefeated at an event, let a Staff member know and they can take a picture of your decklist for the recap.

Leading up to Prerelease we saw a vibrant Modern Thursday, with two 4-0 players at the end of the night. We chose to highlight Jonathan Paez’s Izzet Phoenix deck to showcase. With far more removal than stock Arclight lists, Jonathan’s list was well suited to a field of interaction. By using aggressive components like Monastery Swiftspear and Thought Scour, ending games quickly should prove to be no issue. Jacob Brooks was the other 4-0, piloting Burn to success in a field full of Thing in the Ice.
