Hey guys! I’m coming at you with another deck I put together recently to try out for the Standard PPTQ season. I’ve been looking at the top tier decks for the past couple of weeks, and I’ve been liking the B/G Constrictor lists that have been going around. The one card I liked from Rivals of Ixalan when they where being spoiled was Siegehorn Ceratops.

What makes this card so great is whenever it is dealt damage it gets two counters on it: when you have a Winding Constrictor out on the battlefield it gets one more counter, so how do we get these counters on him right away? We use Walking Ballista.

Ballista has been a staple in the G/B Constrictor list since it’s been a tier deck. Playing it on turn three with a constrictor out on the battle field for two mana lets you put one counter and then you add an additional counter from Winding Constrictor. Here is the decklist I have been play testing with.
